“A great program” was just the shortest of the evaluations Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy received after their 2024 Family-Centered Patient Advocacy Training.
A few more:
· The stories and lived experiences were inspirational. Many turn tragedy into triumph.
· Great collaboration and learning.
· Looking forward to utilizing the toolkits
Why did these people attend the training? Why should you attend the 2025 training on March 27-28? Many were people caring for sick or injured family or friends - people who wanted to learn ways to advocate for their loved ones. Some were professional patient advocates, or people working towards that goal. They all had in common concerns about navigating the healthcare system safely.
A professional advocate’s evaluation: “The event was full of information I can bring to my clients.”)
A family caregiver said, “I feel more competent in helping my aging parents as a direct result of this event.”
The reactions speak for themselves. If you are interested in making health care safer, come to Long Island and enjoy two days of intensive, interactive training in a collaborative setting.
